Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vintage 1998

A great vintage very spicy with very dark garnet dresses. Characterized by overripening aromas (brandy, black fruits), they generally have an alcohol/tannin balance that makes them otherwise greedy at least rich and powerful.

On high guard, they remain no less interesting in their younger age, at the risk of not keeping enough to appreciate them when they are at their optimum in a few years!
