Châteauneuf du Pape Vintage 1985

The AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a gem of the Rhone Valley. It is famous for all its wines, whether red or white. It is in this that each type of vine that we use brings its identity, its personality. Wines have an obvious quality/price ratio when we know their holding potential whether for red wines or AOC white wines.

1985 is certainly a vintage blessed by the gods in our beautiful appellation of Châteauneuf du Pape. An exceptional climate during the months of September, with sunshine and a sum of temperatures comparable to what is usually found in July and August, an irreproachable quality of grapes, are at the origin of a harvest of ideal maturity. Everything comes together to produce beautiful wines. 

The first wines are already marked by the seal of great vintages, intense colors, fine and generous fruit aromas, promising structure of a good aging.

This vintage will undoubtedly be a long-lasting vintage in the image of 1945 and 1961.
