We received a score of 95+/100 for our Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Centenaire 2010 !
"Fabrice says this is the most powerful wine they’ve made, with tiny berries and not much juice, and it’s hard to argue with him. The 2010 Châteauneuf Du Pape Centenaire is based on the normal 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, completely destemmed and aged 24 months in concrete. Just now at the early stages of its drink window, it reveals roasted garrigue, black licorice, macerated black cherries, and spice on the nose. It’s a massive, rich, layered wine that takes time to unwind in the glass and should be decanted if drinking any time soon. Full-bodied, deep, rich, and incredibly powerful, this has an incredibly long life ahead of it. Drink 2025–2045.
