We received a score of 97/100 for our Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Centenaire 2006 !
"An absolutely gorgeous, ultra-classic wine, the 2006 Châteauneuf Du Pape Centenaire is based on 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, completely destemmed and aged 24 months in concrete. It offers black cherries, roasted garrigue, Provençal spice, menthol, and black licorice on the nose. Concentrated and medium to full-bodied, it’s balanced and reveals ripe, polished tannins, flawless balance, and a great finish. I was able to follow this bottle over multiple days, and it held up beautifully, continuing to blossom and evolve. A short decant is recommended if drinking any time soon. Drink 2025-2035.
