“Deeper ruby-hued as well, the 2016 Châteauneuf Du Pape Centenaire is based on 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, completely destemmed and aged 24 months in concrete. It has a full-bodied, ripe, sexy style with black cherries, kirsch liqueur, black olives, licorice, and pepper on the nose. Nicely textured, with a pure, layered mouthfeel, more supple tannins, and outstanding length, it's just now starting to develop secondary nuances but is still young. Drink 2025–2045.
