"Absolutely sensational, the 2007 Châteauneuf Du Pape Centenaire is based on 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, completely destemmed and aged 24 months in concrete. The 2007 vintage was truly something special for the Southern Rhône, and this wine has shed most of its baby fat to reveal an absolutely brilliant, complex, heavenly expression. So pure, fresh, and lively, it has a huge nose of garrigue and flowers. Full-bodied on the palate, it offers a pure, layered, seamless profile with that rare sense of freshness that this vintage brings, ultra-fine tannins, and no hard edges. It’s as good as it gets, and the level of freshness, purity, and vibrancy here is truly something special. Drink 2025–2040.
