First made in 1989 to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the estate, Centenaire comes from Domaine Les Cailloux's best parcel of Grenache, a small plot of 125-year-old vines in lieu-dit Fauguerol, grown on heavy clay soils. It displays inviting spice on the nose - there's surely plenty of Syrah and Mourvèdre here. It's very full and flowing on the palate, with robust levels of ripe tannin and a very long finish. This will stay the course and give lots of pleasure. It has high alcohol but no heat or sense of imbalance.Drinking Window 2021 - 2028.
